This WindyNation 10/4 SOOW cord combines 10 AWG pure copper conductors with a flexible, abrasion-resistant outer CPE insulation jacket. It is designed for rugged portable power and other demanding multi-conductor cable applications.
Applications include portable power, electric-vehicle chargers, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor and welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow-water immersion and mining environments.
The insulation resists abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid and water. It is rated for outdoor use and meets or exceeds a 720-hour UV-resistant aging test.
SOOW identifies service cord with oil-resistant inner and outer insulation and weather- and water-resistant construction.
