Shipping & Returns

We aim to make shipping clear, reliable, and practical for power, solar, battery, inverter, and backup power equipment. Because many Total Power Supply products are heavy, oversized, or ship from specialized supplier warehouses, shipping is not automatically free unless a specific product or promotion clearly says otherwise.

Order Confirmation

Once your order is successfully placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that your order has been submitted and that your payment method has been pre-authorized.

If any item in your order is unavailable, backordered, delayed, or requires additional freight confirmation, we will contact you with available options. These may include waiting for restock, selecting an alternative product, approving an adjusted freight option, or canceling the item for a refund.

Orders containing in-stock items are processed quickly and prepared for shipment as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed, we may be unable to modify the shipping address or delivery method.

Shipping Policy

Shipping rates and delivery options are calculated at checkout based on the products in your order, delivery destination, carrier availability, supplier warehouse, package dimensions, weight, and any parcel or freight requirements.

  • Shipping is paid by the customer unless a product page, checkout rate, or promotion clearly states otherwise.
  • Parcel shipments may ship by standard carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, or another available carrier.
  • Freight shipments may ship by LTL or freight carrier and may require a delivery appointment.
  • Split shipments may occur when items ship from different warehouses or suppliers.

Most in-stock parcel orders ship within 1-3 business days. Transit times are estimates and commonly range from 1-7 business days after shipment, depending on carrier, warehouse location, destination, and order size. Some items may have longer lead times, which may be shown on the product page or confirmed after order review.

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email when tracking is available. If you have not received tracking within 7 business days, or if your tracking number does not update, please contact us and we will assist promptly.

Freight & Large Item Delivery

Many solar panels, batteries, racking systems, generators, inverters, and other large power products require special handling. Freight deliveries are typically curbside or ground-level delivery unless the selected shipping option states otherwise. Inside delivery, installation, unpacking, liftgate service, limited-access delivery, re-delivery, storage, address correction, or other special services may create additional charges.

Please inspect freight shipments carefully before signing the delivery receipt or bill of lading. If there is visible damage, missing cartons, crushed packaging, punctures, broken pallet wrap, or signs of mishandling, note the issue on the carrier paperwork before signing and take clear photos. If damage is severe, contact us before accepting the shipment when possible.

Do not schedule installers, electricians, or project work until your order has arrived, been inspected, and all required parts are confirmed.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. Additional fees may apply for address corrections, re-consignment, re-delivery, reshipments, storage, return-to-sender charges, or rerouting once an order has been processed or shipped.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer. We will assist in filing claims when possible, but we do not guarantee replacements or refunds for lost or stolen packages after carrier-confirmed delivery.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Orders are processed quickly, and we cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been submitted to a supplier, warehouse, or carrier.

If the order has not yet shipped or been committed for fulfillment, we will make every effort to cancel it. If the order has already been processed, packed, shipped, or scheduled for freight pickup, it will be treated as a return and may be subject to the return terms below.

Cancelled orders are subject to a 5% administrative fee to cover non-refundable transaction costs from payment processors and financing providers.

Return Policy

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery. Please contact Total Power Supply before sending anything back so we can confirm eligibility, provide the correct return instructions, and issue any required return authorization.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • In new, unused, uninstalled condition
  • In the original packaging
  • Complete with all original parts, manuals, accessories, and documentation
  • Approved for return by Total Power Supply or the applicable supplier/manufacturer

Important Return Terms

  • Original shipping charges: Original outbound parcel or freight charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped, unless the return is due to our error, a verified defect, or verified shipping damage.
  • Return shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, incorrect, or damaged in transit.
  • Restocking fees: A 10% to 25% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns, depending on the supplier or manufacturer.
  • Refused deliveries: Refused shipments are treated as returns and are subject to original shipping charges, return shipping charges, and applicable restocking fees.
  • Non-returnable items: Special-order, custom, used, installed, opened, energized, final-sale, hazardous, battery, electrical, or manufacturer-restricted items may not be eligible for return.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. Damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, photos of the product, photos of the packaging, and any carrier paperwork showing damage or shortage notes.

Verified damaged, defective, or incorrect items qualify for assistance with replacement, repair, parts, refund, or return shipping as appropriate for the product and supplier/manufacturer policy.

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 1-5 business days. Depending on your bank, card issuer, or financing provider, it may take additional time for the credit to appear on your statement.

Refunds may be reduced by original shipping charges, return shipping charges, freight charges, restocking fees, missing parts, damaged packaging, or product condition issues when applicable.

Warranty Support

Many products include a manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms vary by brand and product. We can help point you to the correct warranty process, but warranty approval, repair, replacement, and coverage are ultimately determined by the manufacturer or supplier.
