Mastervolt CombiMaster 24/3500-100 Inverter/Charger, 120 V

The CombiMaster 35523500 combines a true sine wave inverter, battery charger and AC transfer system in one enclosure. This 24 V model supplies 3,500 W continuously at 104°F (40°C) and provides up to 100 A of battery charging at 28.5 V. It supports automatic synchronization with the AC input and communicates through MasterBus or CZone.

Scalable configurations

The 24/3500-100 supports up to seven units in a single-phase parallel system rated at 120 V / 24.5 kW. Parallel and split-phase installations require matching model numbers, product codes and firmware versions, one shared battery bank sized for the application, and the installation procedures in the manufacturer manual. Use AC cables of equal gauge and length and DC cables of equal gauge and length to every unit; install the units no more than 1 ft apart. Multi-unit installation requires a qualified electrical technician.

Battery and installation requirements

Use in permanent systems with flooded, AGM or gel lead-acid batteries, or Mastervolt lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. The manufacturer recommends 200–1,000 Ah battery capacity for this model. Charging settings must meet the battery manufacturer's recommendations; user-defined settings require MasterAdjust or the CZone Configuration Tool. The charger uses Mastervolt 3-step+ charging and supports temperature compensation with the included battery temperature sensor.

Protect the inverter/charger from rain, snow, spray and condensing moisture. Output is temperature dependent: it delivers 1,750 W at 140°F (60°C) and shuts down above 140°F (60°C). Follow the complete manufacturer safety, wiring and configuration instructions.
