Epoch C48100A 48V 100Ah V2 Elite Series Heated LiFePO4 Battery

The Epoch C48100A is a 51.2V nominal, 100Ah LiFePO4 battery with 5.12kWh of stored energy for native 48V RV, marine house-power, off-grid solar and backup systems. Built-in heating, Bluetooth monitoring through the included battery gauge and native Victron CAN communication provide control and visibility across a parallel battery bank.

Features and applications

  • Internal heating warms the cells before charging; heated charging is supported from −30°C ambient. The cells must reach a safe temperature before charging resumes.
  • Monitor state of charge, cell voltages, temperatures and alerts in the Epoch Li-Ion app for iOS and Android. Bluetooth operates through the included gauge.
  • Native Victron CAN communicates battery status and charge limits to compatible GX devices; DVCC allows the battery to control charging.
  • A smart BMS provides overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short-circuit and high/low-temperature protection. The internal fuse is UL 60691 certified.
  • The IP67 enclosure is dust-tight and rated for temporary immersion to 1m for 30 minutes; this does not cover pressure washing.
  • Maintenance-free operation and 3,500+ cycles to 70% remaining capacity at 25°C, 0.5C charge and 1C discharge.
  • An 11-year limited manufacturer warranty applies.
  • Expand capacity with up to 16 matched batteries in parallel. Series connection is not supported.

Grade A LiFePO4 cells provide a 10-year lifespan.

Safe installation and operation

This is a deep-cycle battery, not a cranking battery. Use LiFePO4-compatible charging and external DC overcurrent protection; the internal fuse does not replace system protection. Install matched batteries upright and follow the manual for CAN wiring, DIP switches and Victron DVCC setup.
