Epoch C24230A 24V 230Ah V2 Elite Heated Bluetooth LiFePO4 Battery

The Epoch C24230A is a 25.6V nominal, 230Ah, 5.89kWh LiFePO4 battery for compatible 24V RV, marine house-power, off-grid solar and backup systems. The V2 Elite platform combines native Victron CAN communication, Bluetooth monitoring, internal heating and an IP67 enclosure.

Features and applications

• Native Victron CAN reports battery status and charge limits to compatible GX devices; DVCC allows the battery to control charging.
• The included Bluetooth gauge and Epoch Li-Ion app show state of charge, cell voltages, temperatures and alerts on iOS and Android. Firmware updates are available over the air.
• Connect up to 16 matched batteries in parallel, or up to 2 in series. Configure the communication chain and DIP switches for the actual bank.
• Internal heating warms cold cells before charging. Heated charging is supported from −30°C ambient; cells charge directly only within 0°C to 55°C.
• The smart BMS protects against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuits and temperature extremes. The internal fuse is UL 60691 certified.
• The IP67 enclosure is dust-tight and rated for temporary immersion to 1m for 30 minutes; it does not cover pressure washing.
• 3,500+ cycle life, maintenance-free operation and an 11-year limited manufacturer warranty.
• The battery pack is UL 1973 certified. Cell certifications are UL 1642, UL 9540A and IEC 62619:2022; CE and RoHS are listed.
• The mountable ON/OFF switch and battery gauge provide accessible control and monitoring.

Safe installation and operation

This is a deep-cycle battery, not a cranking battery. Use LiFePO4-compatible charging and external DC overcurrent protection. Program every charging source for the model-specific settings, including backup settings if CAN communication is lost. Follow the manual for bank limits, wiring, DIP switches and Victron DVCC setup. The heater must warm cold cells before charging resumes; low-temperature protection releases at 5°C.

Battery-bank monitoring

The app Dashboard shows bank state of charge, total voltage, total current and total capacity. Individual-battery views show voltage, current, power, remaining capacity and warnings.
